Preview: Tottenham Hotspur vs Arsenal – Prediction, Team News, Line-ups

Football fans will be looking forward to a huge north London derby this Sunday as Tottenham Hotspur welcome Arsenal to N17 for a very exciting encounter.

The Gunners are competing with Manchester City for the Premier League title, while Ange Postecoglou’s side are bidding to finish in the top-four.

Match Preview

Mikel Arteta’s side looked in great trouble after back-to-back losses at the hands of Aston Villa and Bayern Munich.

With their Champions League campaign over, the Gunners’ Premier League title hopes also looked in serious danger.

But they made a huge comeback by sealing consecutive victories against Wolverhampton Wanderers and Chelsea.

Arsenal were particularly at their destructive best against the Blues when they put five unanswered goals at the Emirates Stadium.

Leandro Trossard scored the opener before Ben White and Kai Havertz each netted braces to help the Gunners to an emphatic success.

They will now come up against Tottenham who suffered a demoralising 4-0 loss to Newcastle United in their latest league fixture.

Spurs couldn’t capitalise on their chances and deservedly fell to a chastening defeat at St James’ Park.

The two North London giants played out an entertaining 2-2 draw in the reverse fixture at the Emirates Stadium in September.

The upcoming derby, available to watch via the Premier League live streams, is also expected to be very exciting and full of entertainment for fans.

Team News

Tottenham boss Ange Postecolou will not be able to call upon the services of Fraser Forster, Ryan Sessegnon and Manor Solomon as they are all recovering from injury issues.

Meanwhile, Arsenal don’t have many injury woes this weekend and Mikel Arteta is expected to feature the same team that beat Chelsea last time out.

Tottenham Hotspur vs Arsenal potential line-ups

Tottenham Hotspur: Vicario; Porro, Romero, Van de Ven, Davies; Hojbjerg, Bissouma, Kulusevski, Maddison, Son; Richarlison

Arsenal: Raya; White, Gabriel, Saliba, Tomiyasu; Partey, Rice, Odegaard; Trossard, Saka, Havertz

Tottenham Hotspur vs Arsenal prediction

Arsenal are the team in form but Spurs are expected to provide a tough competition on Sunday.

Both teams cannot afford to lose the derby and so they will both put out their best efforts this weekend, but the recent performances of Mikel Arteta’s men suggest they will likely prevail.

Tottenham Hotspur 1-2 Arsenal
