Tottenham endured a awful 2022-23 season as they missed out on any form of European football for the first time in over a decade.
They were expected to do well in the top-flight under manager Antonio Conte after a good summer transfer window saw them signing the likes of Richarlison, Cristian Romero and Yves Bissouma.
But the North Londoners were highly inconsistent throughout the campaign, and Conte ultimately left Spurs in March in acrimonious circumstances.
The Italian boss hit out at his players in an extraordinary post-match rant after a poor showing at Southampton. A few days later, the club announced they had parted company with the 53-year-old.
Cristian Stellani was put in interim charge but a miserable run of form prompted the hierarchy to replace him with Ryan Mason.
However, the English coach also failed to revive the fortunes of the club as they finished a disappointing 8th in the English top-flight.
Tottenham have now appointed Ange Postecoglou who was enormously successful in his previous job at Celtic but question marks remain whether he can replicate that success in England.
Postecoglou faces many challenges in North London, and one of the biggest is currently star striker Harry Kane’s future at the club.
The 29-year-old wants to leave Spurs in the current Premier League transfer window, but losing the England international will be a big blow for them.

Ange Postecoglou’s side will travel to Australia to play their first preseason game against West Ham United at Optus Stadium on July 18.
They will subsequently be in action against Leicester City at Rajamangala Stadium in Bangkok.
